Personal profile: I lived in the country until I was 20 years old. On my parents farm I learnt how to do all the chores and take responsibility for them together with my brothers. I am an Agricultural Engineer (M. Sc. In Soil Science). I studied at the National University of the South (Bahía Blanca) in Argentina. I worked as a researcher on Soil fertility and plant nutrition at the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), for 35 years. When I retired, about ten years ago, I took all courses towards a Master's degree in Sociology at the same University (UNS). Since then, I have dedicated myself to academic and dissemination activities in areas of development, territoriality and sustainability, with a systemic and glocal vision. I am also engaged in a country project for Argentina, (www.proyectodepais.com.ar). Finally, I am part of a group (NGO) that works on a program for territorial development in the southwest of Buenos Aires (Province of Buenos Aires). Email: tomasdarre@gmail.com
